Mrs. Yuval was the daughter of R' Shmuel Horenshtein, who was the son of R' Moshe and Chaya Mushka Horenshtein, who was the daughter of the Rebbe Maharash and Rebbetzin Rivka. Her father, R' Shmuel Horenshtein HYD, perished in the Warsaw Ghetto in 5703 (1943). Her only brother, Uri Horenshtein HYD, perished that same year in the Treblinka concentration camp. Her uncle, R' Menachem Mendel Horenshtein HYD, was the husband of Rebbetzin Sheina HYD, daughter of the Frierdiker Rebbe, both of whom perished in Treblinka. After the Holocaust, Mrs. Yuval made aliyah to Eretz Yisroel, where she lived a long life. She passed away recently at the ripe old age of 91....
